In this workshop series of 4 sessions, textile artist and designer Jorgelina Lopez will guide you through the art of folding to create dynamic forms, shapes, and surfaces. This hands-on exploration emphasizes the creative journey—where the act of folding connects our hands, minds, and surroundings, fostering innovation in both functional and artistic contexts. We'll begin with paper to grasp the fundamentals before transitioning to textiles and incorporating other materials for contemporary applications.
