Celebrate the Lunar New Year with creativity and tradition! Paper flower lantern making is more than just a craft—it’s a cherished custom brimming with symbolism, representing hopes, dreams, and fresh beginnings for the year ahead.
Join local artist and community member Rosa Chang for this hands-on workshop, where you’ll learn to create your very own stunning paper flower lantern. Whether you’re an experienced crafter or exploring something new, this relaxing and joyful activity will leave you inspired.
Date: Tuesday, January 28th (the day before Lunar New Year)
Time: 5 - 8:00 PM
Duration: 3 hours

Location: Blue Light Junction
You’ll leave with a beautiful lantern to lite and hang on Lunar New Year’s Day, January 29th, complete with your personal wish note to welcome the year with positivity and intention.
What’s Included:
All crafting materials are provided including LED Kit + Lantern base—just bring your creativity.
*Natural pigments will also be available for those who wish to paint their flower petals with vibrant, eco-friendly colors.
