The Anthotype Process
October 30th, 12:00pm to 2:30pm
In this hands-on workshop, Artist-in-Residence, Samantha Sethi, will lead participants through
the sustainable and non-toxic anthotype printing process from making basic emulsions using
spinach and berries, preparing the printing surface, and exposing the image. Participants will
take home their own prepared sheet of paper to print using foraged leaves and sunlight.
This will be a basic introduction to the Anthotype process – noprevious experience with photography printing required. We will beusing spinach and blackberries to create anthotype emulsions.
